Pedal Camp is a weekend experience produced by the Red Ribbon Ride and held at beautiful Camp One Heartland in Willow River, Minnesota. Pedal Camp 2016 will take place September 23rd - September 25th, 2016.
At Camp you have the opportunity to go on a 60 or 30 mile fully supported bicycle ride and enjoy all sorts of fun camp activities, including canoing, games, arts and crafts, bon fires, S'mores, big screen movies and more all while raising money for an incredible cause. Pedal Camp benefits 8 HIV/AIDS service agencies here in Minnesota; African American AIDS Task Force, Clare Housing, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, Minnesota AIDS Project, One Heartland, Park House, Rural AIDS Action Network and The Aliveness Project. Come experience Camping for a Cause.
Join us as a Rider or Crew member. Come for the entire weekend or just for the day. Registration includes all lodging, food and beverages for the entire weekend.
We offer a fully supported 30 or 60 mile route on Saturday September 24th. Wake up at Camp, enjoy a great breakfast, stretching and get ready for a beautiful ride up the Willard Munger Trail. You can either join us as a Rider or Crew member.
Riders - Registration for Riders is $50. Riders are required to raise a minimum of $250 to participate in the Ride.
Crew - Registration for Crew is $50. Crew is not required to raise money but is encouraged.
One Heartland has an incredible camp ground that is used for the youth and families of those who are impacted by HIV. The cabins are clean, warm and fun. You get to select who you cabin with so make it a group weekend! All meals are served in the main lodge of the Camp, there are fire places, rest rooms, showers and more.
After the Ride there are many things to do at Camp. You can jump in a canoe and paddle the day away, visit the goats, do arts & crafts, take an afternoon nap in the sun, play games, rock climb and in the evening we have the traditional bon fire, S'mores and even a big screen movie. So much to do and so much fun to be had.
