A Crew member is a person who volunteers for all 4 days of the Red Ribbon Ride working on the event.
Crew members are an amazing group of people who are selfless and committed as the all volunteer workforce that make the Red Ribbon Ride happen. Crew works tirelessly, waking up early and staying up late, pouring their hearts into the Ride all to ensure that everything gets done. It's a lot of work but the most rewarding kind and so much fun!
Crew works on everything.... setting up and breaking down camp, pit stops, serving meals, picking up trash, parking bikes, transporting gear, pouring water, mixing electrolyte drink, cooling riders off with ice cold rags, picking up tired riders, fixing bicycles, marking and unmarking the route, wrapping sore knees, massaging muscles, giving directions... anything you can think of our Crew is doing.
If you decided to join Red Ribbon Ride as a Crew member you will be connected with a Crew Captain. Your Crew Captain will help you connect with your team, ensure you have information regarding Ride logistics, work with you and the team to decide themes and ideas for your area and be a support to help answer your questions.
Crew is a GREAT way to be involved in Red Ribbon Ride. Crew members also give out hugs, love and make sure everyone on the Ride feels good and is having a good time. Your time, energy and volunterism help make a difference on the event and in the lives of the clients served by our benefiting organizations.
