Help Me Make A Difference.
From July 20 - 22, 2018 I will be participating on the Red Ribbon Ride. Red Ribbon Ride is a 2 day, 175 mile bicycle ride that raises vital funds for eight HIV/AIDS service organizations in Minnesota; providing treatment, prevention and awareness.
I need your help to reach my goal. I hope I can count on you to support me on my journey of hope for thousands of Minnesotans with HIV/AIDS and those at risk of infection.
Over the next few months I plan to update this page frequently so you can follow my progress, so please visit often. While you're here, spend some time on the site to find out more about why this event is so important, and learn about the people who will benefit from the money we raise.
Thank you for your support!

One of the organization's the ride benefits is AAATF, African American AIDS Task Force. Looking into the organization they do some pretty neat stuff. 1st Ride of the Season!
1st ride of the season under my belt. All the nor'easters don't help with outdoors training. The ride was a balmy 19 degrees and 20 miles. But the promise of pancakes and french toast with fresh maple syrup kept our thoughts warm.

March is here!
Rabbit rabbit. As always February went by way too fast! This past month I've been ramping up in my training with spin classes in the Burlington area. Less than a couple weeks it will be time to Spring forward which means I can start biking to work with the lighter evenings.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter" Martin Luther King Jr
Today honors the life of Martin Luther King Jr and his remarkable contributions to the Civil Rights Movement and all of the inspiration he continues to provide today. Even though we've come so far there is still much work to be done in the face of injustice, prejudice and inequality.
After college I promised myself I'd give back to the community and do what I can. I'm unable to make a difference on my own and I appreciate all the support.

193 days to go and my first donor in the books. A huge shout out to Ashwin! Starting this week it is time to kick up the training for the ride. I know my teammate, Cat, is already kicking butt at it.

As the New Year starts my resolution is to raise $3,000 and bike 175 miles this July for the Red Ribbon Ride with my teammates Scott Cuttlephish, Cole Cameron, and Cat Malin. This team has been together for many years starting with our time at SDSM&T. Since graduating and going to the real world we've decided it's not too soon to give back to our community. This year we chose the Red Ribbon Ride as our focus for their mission to educate the public about HIV.
If your resolution is to donate to more charities please consider this one!
Thank you for your support!
