Two Wheels, Tarmac, and a Cause to Ride For
This summer I'm proud to be participating in the annual Red Ribbon Ride, which is a four-day, 300-mile bike tour throughout southeastern Minnesota. While I'm super pumped for the personal challenge, the most important aspect of the Ride is the fundraising aspect. Every penny that I and other riders raise will benefit eight HIV/AIDS service organizations here in Minnesota, focusing on treatment, prevention, awareness, and other services related to the virus and disease.
I have set a personal goal to raise $1,000 by the opening day of the ride, which is Thursday, July 21st. I hope you are able and willing to contribute to this awesome cause, and to support my participation in the event! As you are considering how much to donate, remember that no amount is too small - every bit counts towards helping me reach my goal, and more importantly, helping AIDS patients live a better life.
Thank you so much for reading and for your support! You are all wonderful and I will make sure you get photos of me out on the road!
