Help Me Make My Difference.
I will be riding in the Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride in 2016. It is a 300-mile ride through Minnesota. I have done this in the past, and am jumping back in the saddle again this year. I look forward to challenging my physical as well as emotional strength to accomplish this task, and I am riding for all the HIV+ people that are not able to ride. I want to do everything that I am able to do to help those less fortunate. I am riding because I live a healthy life, without any limitations, although my friends would probably tell you differently, something many of us take for granted. I am HIV Positive, so this ride is very close to my heart. I am making the commitment to ride three hundred miles to help raise money to help end AIDS, and to help those that have HIV/AIDS live.
I have made a goal to raise $3,000.00 by riding my bicycle 300 miles in the hot humid Minnesota summer, in order to help those with HIV/AIDS live a better, healthier life. Will you help me with my commitment and donate money to the cause? I appreciate any donation.
There are eight important benefactors of the Red Ribbon Ride in an effort to provide necessary programs needed to offer support and services to those in need. This is a great resource to the many people in Minnesota struggling with HIV/AIDS. The eight agencies provide essential resources that may be vital for day-to-day needs for survivability.
In preparation for this ride, I will be training extensively for the ride. I have committed five days per week of my personal time to prepare for the endurance needed to accomplish this goal. I train every Saturday, and Sunday, to include three evenings at the gym for strength training. Can you help me by donating your choice on my web site for the Red Ribbon Ride http://www.redribbonride.org/goto/MichaelOehler.
This is one of the hardest challenges I have committed myself to in my life since turning forty; however, it is very important to me. As you can see, I want to do everything possible to make life easier for those living with this horrific disease. I will be sending you updates on my training in addition to messages on the road during the hot summer event. I hope you will join me with your generous support, both financially, and emotionally.
Thank you for your support,
