Help take me on a trip of a lifetime (and fight the impact of HIV/AIDS)
From July 21 - 24, 2016 I will be participating on the Red Ribbon Ride. Red Ribbon Ride is a 4 day, 300 mile bicycle ride that raises vital funds for eight HIV/AIDS service organizations in Minnesota; providing treatment, prevention and awareness.
This is already insane but it is for a good cause. Each of the eight organizations provide services and support for people in need in a comprehensive and holistic way. I personally am donating to them though the Red Ribbon Ride and I hope you will join me in support.
$100 divided by 8 only amounts to a little more that $12 for each organization, but from my time workin at non-profits, I know that a $12 donation often turns into $100 or more in the anual budget. These additional funds can come from matching funds for grants that they could not have qualified for before or from donations made by others who see you donating and want to help too. Unfortunatly a $0 dollar donation will always be a $0 donation. My Wells Fargo team currently have $17 members, if each of us got a donation from someone like you for $100 that $12 becomes 204 for each organization, the impact of which could mean $2000 for an organization. Now that is serious impact.
Once again, please join me in support of these amazing organizations.

So it begins
It is an exciting time! I just got back from the New Participant Orientation meeting and I am beyond excited. Meeting with Marni and talking about what is going to happen in July has nearly vibrating with energy. On top of that my resistance trainer arrives tomorrow and I am going to pick up my bike on Friday. This is all starting to feel a lot more than just a registration fee for a future event.
