Help Me Make a Difference.
From July 21-24 I will be participating in the Red Ribbon Ride. The Red Ribbon Ride is a 300 mile bike ride through south eastern Minnesota raising money for HIV and AIDS. My goal is to raise $1500 by July 21, and I’m confident I can raise that kind of money with contributions from people like yourself.
This is my fourth year doing the ride. I’m riding because I have been blessed with so many things in my life including great health, mobility, and a drive to make a difference in this world. As many of you know HIV infections are up in Minnesota, and we need to raise money for community centers, prevention, and awareness. I am so excited to be joining my friends on Team FIRM and riding for the people that we have lost, but also riding for the people that we are going to save.
The ride is only a few short months away. Can you please help me raise $1500 in the right against HIV/AIDS?
HIV/AIDS is still a severe threat to the public health of the entire globe, especially in the developing world. Over 30 million people around the world are living with HIV/AIDS, and each year approximately 2 million people are infected. HIV/AIDS, a world wide pandemic has caused over 25 million deaths, and infected more than 60 million people.
This horrific disease must be stopped. We must raise money for research, testing, and community centers that serve HIV affected persons like the Aliveness Project or Hope House of Saint Croix Valley.
I’m riding for those we have lost, for those living with HIV/AIDS, and for the people that one day can live in a world were HIV/AIDS is no longer a threat to humanity.
Together, we can help raise the funds necessary to defeat this world wide pandemic.
Please consider donating $25, $50, $100 towards my goal of $1500.
