After an amazing 300 mile journey with Team Milkshake last year, I enter year two in my commitment to raise $1500 to generate awareness and support for AIDS. 74% of new HIV cases among females occurred in women of color.
22% of new new cases of HIV disease in Minnesota re among African Americans, who represent just of 4% of the State's population.
30% of new cases of HIV occurred in people 29 and under.
12% of new cases of HIV resided in Greater Minnesota, 37% in Suburban Minnesota, and 38% in Minneapolis
