2016 Red Ribbon Ride
It's that time of year again that I participate in the four day, 300 mile Red Ribbon Ride (July 21 - 24). This year I am making an even bigger commitment to the Ride by volunteering as the Route Coordinator. In that role I design the ride route, apply and get permission for all our pit stops, and coordinate the route with state, county and city transportation and law enforcement agencies. Help me make this year a huge success. Please make a tax-deductible donation for HIV/AIDS services, education and prevention.
The money I raise will help eight AIDS service organizations in Minnesota. These agencies provide a wide variety of much needed services, including:
-temporary housing, to assist people recuperating and learning to manage medications.
-long term and short term assisted living
*Drop in centers with nutritional, therapeutic, social and educational services.
*Programs that focus on rural Minnesota communities
*Advocacy and education to free the world of HIV/AIDS
*Free HIV testing
*Hot meal program
To learn more about the eight agencies, please visit the Ride website: www.redribbonride.org
HIV/AIDS currently affects 40,000,0000 worldwide (over 7,700 Minnesotans, and nearly 1,000,000 in the U.S.)
I invite you to donate on my behalf, volunteer, or even participate as a Rider or Crew member. Please view my website using the link below to make an online donation or to learn more about this worthwhile event.
Gifts in any amount are appreciated! Feel free to forward this request to others who may also be interested.
Thanks for considering making a donation to help people living with, and affected by HIV/AIDS.
