Help Me Make My Difference.
My dear friends have been so patient with me the past few years as I have experienced the journey of figuring out this aging body which has survived 26 years of HIV, occasional heat exhaustion, some squamous cell skin cancer removal/plastic surgery and my latest challenge of shingles and gastrointestinal issues and is no longer up for the 4 day 300 mile bike ride. It's been emotional realizing I can't do everything I want to do. I can however crew as much as my health allows me and if that means just checking in the cyclists and being there to thank each one of them from the bottom of my heart, that's my inspiration and motivation to be there! From July 21 - 24, 2016 I will be on the Red Ribbon Ride. Red Ribbon Ride is a 4 day, 300 mile bicycle ride that raises vital funds for eight HIV/AIDS service organizations in Minnesota; providing treatment, prevention and awareness.
I need your help to reach my goal. I hope I can count on you to support me on my journey of hope for thousands of Minnesotans with HIV/AIDS and those at risk of infection.
Thank you for your many years of support! I am blessed!
