Privacy Policy Statement of MN Fighting AIDS on Bikes (MN-FAB)
As used in this statement, "MN-FAB" refers to Minnesota Fighting AIDS on Bikes, a not-for-profit organization, and creator of the Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride, as well as each benefiting agency of the Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride, any successor(s) and persons acting on behalf of either.
MN-FAB understands your concern about our collection of personal information and how it is used. For this reason, we want to share with you our privacy policy. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us (see below).
MN-FAB collects information from the public gathered on our Website and given to us in writing, in person, over the telephone, by email, and by other means of communication.
Beneficiaries, which include the African American AIDS Task Force, The Aliveness Project, Clare Housing, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, Minnesota AIDS Project, Park House, and Rural AIDS Action Network, may reserve the right to contact you if you are registered for this event. With this exception and except as set forth above, we will NOT share your information with any party without your explicit consent unless we are required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law, cooperate with law enforcement officials, or comply with a legal process served on our company.
MN-FAB will not sell your name, address, or other personal information to a third party.
What We Collect and Why
We collect personal data in order to respond to specific requests for information; advise you of online material, information, products, activities, and events offered by MN-FAB or affiliated persons; fulfill your merchandise orders, and offer you opportunities to participate in MN-FAB events. If you are registered for an event, MN-FAB reserves the right to provide you with information relating to that event even if you have opted-out of general messages. MN-FAB reserves the right to contact donors about donations made in the name of event participants. Donors may opt-out of receiving MN-FAB general mailings by checking the appropriate box on our donation forms, or by contacting us as specified below.
Children
MN-FAB does not knowingly accept event registrations made by those who are younger than 17 years of age. If you are under 17, you may use our website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

MN-FAB believes in the rights of donors, subscribes to the Donor Bill of Rights. This statement of rights was developed by the following organizations: American Association of Fund Raising Counsel (AAFRC), Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives (NSFRE).
